Orchard Mesa is a residential community south of the Colorado River in Mesa County, east of the Redlands and directly across from downtown Grand Junction. It is a quiet, established area with a range of housing ages, from mid-century homes on larger lots near the river to newer construction on the mesa above.

The community sits on a bench above the valley floor, with the mix of elevation and south-facing exposure that is common to Grand Valley residential development.
